The NSW Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, permits Registered Certifiers to grant Development consent via. various State Environmental Planning Policies. Given the proposed development is capable of meeting the required planning and development controls of the relevant policy; complying development certificates can be issued to applicants privately.
Complying Development Certificates
Construction Certificates
Where Development consent is issued by a Local Government Authority or Court order; a construction certificate must be obtained prior to commencement of building work. A construction certificate must accompany a development approval to ensure that the proposed building work is in accordance with the development approval and that the works comply with the relevant building codes and standards.​​
Occupation Certificates
Upon practical completion of a development; an Occupation Certificate must be obtained in order to occupy the building.
Critical Stage Inspections
In order to issue an Occupation Certificate; there are inspections that need to be attended by Registered Certifiers at Critical Stages of the building process. The inspections are to ensure that the development is in accordance with the development consent and the relevant reference documentation.
Town Planning Consulting
We are able to provide planning advice in relation to Permissibility, Preliminary Development Assessments and Environmental Effects.
Building Code and Regulation Consulting
We are able to provide independent building code and building regulation advice on matters associated with compliance to the National Construction Code - Building Code of Australia and the Australian Standards
Access Consulting
The Human Rights Commission has issued guidelines for Disability Rights in buildings. We are able to provide building advice in relation to Disability and Access in accordance with the Disability (Access to Premises - buildings) Standards 2010, and the Building Code of Australia.
Swimming Pool Fence Certificates
We are able to inspect Swimming Pool and Spa Fences, and issue Swimming Pool Fence Certificates to meet Swimming Pool registration and compliance requirements.
